Buhari’s Aide Gives Hint Of COVID-19 Lockdown 2.0

The personal assistant on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has hinted at the possibility of a second lockdown in the country.

GWG writes that due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, some state governments have prohibited large gatherings and also directed that event centres and clubs be shut down as the country enters a second wave of the coronavirus.

Taking to his Twitter page on Monday, Ahmad hinted at the possibility of another restriction of movement with a graphic illustration of a padlock that got many thinking.

GWG reports that many countries have imposed another round of lockdown as a way  of containing the spread of the virus.
