Two entertaining 2-2 draws in the “Group Of Death” of the ongoing Euro 2020 between Portugal and France, as well as Germany and Hungary saw the qualifications from the group finishing in a pulsating end.

France won the group while Germany and Portugal secured qualifications into the next round.

A tenacious Hungary which had been set to push Germany out of the competition with its 2-1 lead into the final ten minutes of their game was forced out after the German machine pushed through an equalizer.

Ronaldo on his part, tucked in two penalties against France to equal Ali Daei’s record of 109 international goals. His former Real Madrid teammate, Karim Benzema bagged a brace as well, one from the penalty spot and a superb finish from inside the box. The result meant Portugal qualified as one of the best losers and France finished top of group F.

Ronaldo will be aiming at making history to overtake Ali Daei’s record when Portugal take on Belgium in the round of 16. Germany will battle England and France are up against a tricky Swiss side.
