Oshiomhole Ends Drama In Imo APC, Dismisses Panel

THE All Progressives Congress, APC, has dismissed the Ahmed Gulak panel constituted to supervise the Imo State governorship primary of the party has been disbanded, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole announced on Tuesday evening.

The dismissal of the panel followed the drama in Owerri when Gulak on his own declared Senator Hope Uzodinma as winner of the primary while at the same time other members of the panel declared Mr. Uche Nwosu as winner.

There were also reports also that another set of panel members were also preparing to declare Prince Eze Madumere, the deputy governor of the state as winner.

Affirming that the rascality among the panel members and the political actors in the state was over, Oshiomhole during a visit to the Presidential Villa dismissed the different results on parade as fake as he announced the dismissal of the panel.

He said that a fresh panel would be immediately be reconstituted to conduct the primary.
