Bishop David Oyedepo and his wife, Faith Oyedepo were among callers who thronged the Lagos home of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya following the news of the death of his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Nomthandazo Odukoya.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG had reported that Pastor Odukoya’s wife died after a two year struggle with cancer. Before leaving the world for eternity, she had reportedly impacted largely on her society given the flow of tributes that came her way on social media.

One lady lamented that Pastor Nomth Odukoya was the one who led her to Christ. Another lady had also said that she had taken it as a mission in distributing a book she wrote because of the impact the book made on her life.

The Oyedepos were joined in the visit by Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Sam Olubiyo.

Besides the Oyedepos, President Muhammadu Buhari who is visiting in France also sent a condolence message through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, on Wednesday.

President Buhari, who prayed God’s comfort and succour for Odukoya, described the passage as “sad and quite touching.”

He urged Odukoya to bear the adversity with equanimity, being convinced that nothing could have happened without the knowledge and permission of Almighty God.

The president prayed for strength for the bereaved family, asking God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
