Mixed Feelings For Pastor Odukoya’s Son As Hollywood Beckons

Jimmy Odukoya, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s son from his first wife, Bimbo, has come out to lament the mixed feelings that have befallen him after his stepmother, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya passed away just as he got nominated for a Hollywood epic.

Jimmy Odukoya, a Pastor, Actor, musician, relationship coach and motivational speaker has just been selected to star along some of the world’s leading actors in a new film, ‘Woman King,” that is to be produced by Hollywood great, Viola Davis and Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Ms. Viola Davis is the recipient of an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Tony Awards, and is regarded as the youngest actor and the first African-American to achieve the “Triple Crown of Acting” as the awards are so called.

Jimmy Odukoya, in a post on his Instagram page noted that the fete for him came an awkward time considering the death of his step-mother.

He, however, put his trust in God who he said would shine light through the darkness.

The timing of this is crazy to me but God has a way of continuing to shine light during difficult times. Truly humbled and honoured to star alongside the iconic @violadavis and all the amazing cast and to be directed by the legendary @gpbmadeit . Thank you @farafrique.actors @funlolafar

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Jimmy Odukoya is the first son of Bimbo Odukoya, the first wife of Taiwo Odukoya who died in the Sosoliso Air crash of 2005.

He has taken to some of his late mother’s inclinations including motivational speaking and pastoring.

The loss of his stepmother nonetheless, colleagues in the industry were congratulating him following his new fete. Among them were Uche Jombo, Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs among others.
