Speaker Race: Gbajabiamila Gets Strong Islamic Backing In Saudi Arabia

Femi Gbajabiamila’s bid for the speakership of the House of Representatives got a boost on Wednesday after he was endorsed in Saudi Arabia by foremost Islamic teacher, Sheik Dahiru Usman.

Gbajabiamila is reported to be in Saudi Arabia with more than 50 members-elect where he has gone to perform the lesser hajj.

The endorsement of Gbajabiamila’s aspiration according to sources took place in the courtyard of the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
