The reign of insecurity in Northern Nigeria escalated on Wednesday night when armed bandits invaded a girls’ boarding school in Moriki town in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State and went away with six persons.

The bandits had sought to break into the female hostel of Government Comprehensive Secondary School in Moriki but failed.

In frustration they went away with six labourers working in the school among whom were two women and four men.

The development in Moriki came as news emerged of the abduction of Musa Daura, the Magajin Daura, who is the father-in-law of Colonel Mohammed Abubakar, President Muhammadu Buhari’s ADC.
