Delta APC Pours Econiums On Kachikwu’s Leadership

The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has lauded the achievements of the erstwhile minister of state, petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu in addressing the rot in the sector notable among which was the elimination of fuel scarcity.

The party in a statement issued by its director of communications, Nick Ovuakporie on behalf of the state chairman, Prophet Jones Erue also lauded the former minister’s role in providing leadership to the state chapter of the party.

Vowing to reciprocate his efforts in due season, the party said that Dr. Ibe Kachikwu brought to bear his vast knowledge of the Petroleum industry through uncommon diligence and unrivaled expertise that endeared him to many of his contemporaries across the world. No wonder he was at various points re-elected to head the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) owing to his immeasurable endowed expertise.

The statement added , that the APC family in Delta State are proud of Dr. Ibe Kachikwu who they described , as an “uncommon performer” who today, has left an indelible mark in the Petroleum Ministry he headed that will be difficult to replicate.

The party also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Dr. Kachikwu who discharged his responsibilities to the admiration of all and sundry.

The party remarked, that Dr. Ibe Kachikwu’s mastery act of diplomatic engagement with critical stakeholders and host communities in the Oil & Gas rich Niger – Delta region was the panacea to the relative peace being experienced today which once eluded the region prior to his appointment as Petroleum Minister which has helped to increase Nigeria’s production quota.

“By and large, the total elimination of fuel scarcity which is an enduring legacy bequeathed to Nigerians who no longer go through the hitherto agonies of sleeping in petrol stations is another landmark achievement, Dr. Kachikwu will be remembered for.”

The party promised to reciprocate the gestures extended to her by Dr. Ibe Kachikwu’s benevolence, whenever it becomes practicable as a mark of honour and appreciation.
