Senate Leadership: Isoko Endorse Lawan/Omo-Agege Ticket

The Isoko Ethnic Nationality Movement has endorsed the duo of Senator Ahmed Lawan for Senate President and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for Deputy Senate President of the 9th Assembly. The body claimed that the decision was in-line with the decision of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress and the support by President Muhammadu President.

The position of the Isoko people was taken after a painstaking review of the pedigree of these distinguished Nigerian Senators which they found honourable enough to be able to move Nigeria forward.

The group in a joint statement signed by its Chairman Hon. Goddy Ewerode, Hon. Emakpor Odogu, Chief Oyibo Panama and the group’s Secretary Otunba Nick Eloviano Ovuakporie, the Isoko people appealed to Dr. Orji Kalu to drop his personal ambition for the general good of Nigeria and for the interest of Nation-building.

They also commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress particularly the National Chairman for considering the duo worthy enough to assist in driving the policy of government in other to achieve the next level blueprints of the administration.
