Panel To Recover Assets From Okorocha, Aides Set Up In Imo

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has constituted a nine-man committee to recover government assets from former Governor Rochas Okorocha and aides who served in that dispensation.

The committee to be chaired by a former member of the House of Assembly, Jasper Ndubuaku according to the terms of reference listed out by the Secretary to the State Government, Uche Onyegocha

-To ascertain and document all movable properties belonging to the Imo State government which are presently held by unauthorized persons, including past government officials.

– To recover and return to the Government House or other designated government premises such recovered movable properties, irrespective of their conditions for official use or disposal wherever they may be found across the country. The committee is expected to submit its report on July 31. Other members of the committee Ken Anaeme, Casmir Okoroafor, Reginald Udenze, Ernest Njesi and Chika Odionyenma.

Others are Charles Ejikeme Asomugha, Collins Ezenwa Iloh and are Okechukwu Azu – Secretary.
