IRT Police Officers Killed By Soldiers Were Nigeria’s Best – Police

The Nigerian Police Force has expressed its highly felt sadness over the killings of its special operatives of the IGPs Intelligence Response Team by Soldiers in Taraba State describing the team as the best and most highly trained in the country.

A statement said, “The Gallant, Outstanding and Innocent IRT team attacked by the Soldiers in Taraba State is one of the Best and Most Highly Trained IRT teams  in the Country”.

“They are part of the teams responsible for the Arrest of Nigeria’s most notorious Kidnap Kingpin Evans, 

“They are part of the team that arrested 22 Boko Haram Terrorists responsible for the 2014 Kidnapping of the Chibok School Girls in Borno State, 

“Arrest of Umar Abdulmalik, overall Boko Haram Commander of North Central Nigeria and several of his group members. 

“Arrest of the Kidnappers of the 2 American and 2 Canadian citizens in Kaduna State. 

“And most Recently, the Rescue Of Magajin Garin Daura in Kano State and arrest of the 13 Terrorist Responsible for Kidnapping the Magajin Garin Daura in his home town Daura in Katsina State on the 1/5/19, among many other outstanding records of the Team. 

The statement added, “It’s very sad that, the notorious Leader of Kidnappers IRT arrested in Taraba State, with handcuffs and leg chain on him have been released by the Army to escape. Very Painful.
