Atiku Tells Buhari What To Do About Attacks On Nigerians In S/Africa

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned killingsĀ of Nigerians residing in South Africa, while calling on the Nigerian authorities to address the issue through direct talks with the South African government and the African Union, AU.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 election, noted that the killings of Nigerians in South Africa is unacceptable. 

Atiku’s reaction was sequel to the viral videos showing widespread attacks on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.

In his verified Twitter account, he wrote: ā€œThe attacks and killings have since stirred reactions from well meaning Nigerians calling on government to take drastic measures against the South African government.

ā€œReported attacks against Nigerians in South Africa is unacceptable and stands condemned.

ā€œUrgent steps need to be taken with the SA authorities and the African Union to bring an end to this ill wind that can only end up destroying the fabric of our African brotherhood.ā€
