Only Compound Fools Leave PDP For APC – Dino Melaye

Senator Dino Melaye has dismissed speculations of his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC saying only compound fools will believe the story.

Senator Melaye’s reported defection was upon his outburst against the outcome of PDP governorship primaries that saw him take fourth position behind Musa Wada, Abubakar Ibrahim and Ibrahim Wada.

Following the primaries, the party was enmeshed in a controversy over his alleged appointment as director-general of the PDP governorship campaign.

Melaye has now come to squash all speculations that ill-feelings from the primaries would lead him to defect to the APC.

“Only compound fools and people with degree in stupidity will leave PDP for APC.

“All lies. I can not meet Yahaya Bello for any reason. And he must go. I will defeat Smart Adeyemi any day; but there will be no fresh election,” the lawmaker said.
