Bayelsa Election: APC Warns Dickson Over False Alarm

The Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bayelsa State, Amos Jotham   has urged Governor Seriake Dickson  to stop making unguarded statement to whip public sentiment against the Saturday governorship election in the state.

Recall, Governor Dickson had called for the cancellation of results of the governorship election in Nembe, Southern Ijaw and other local governments  over alleged irregularities, before INEC begins its announcement..

In his response, Jotham who expressed shock over such comment, described it as a desperation on the part of Dickson to ensure that his stooge take over from him as governor of Bayelsa State.

He advised the governor to accept the out of the election as reward of his nonperformance in the governance of the state since he took over.

He urged INEC and other relevant security agencies to disregard such partisan call of the governor saying it is wrong for the governor to drag them into the matter.
