Buhari, Dutch PM Witness Landmark Agreement Between NGSG And Friesland

President Muhammadu Buhari and visiting Prime Minister of Netherlands Mr. Mark Rutte were witnesses to the signing of an MoU on dairy chain development between Friesland Campina and Niger State Government at the State House Abuja.

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello represented Niger State Government and  Mr. Ben Langat, MD, Friesland Campina WAMCO Plc represented his company.

WAMCO has already set up its factory in Bobi Grazing Reserve where the first indigenous PEAK MILK will be produced. The Niger State Government has since approved 4000 hectares of land each to Chi Ltd Company, makers of Hollandia milk, Irish dairy and Neo.

In the same vain, another 5 Grazing Reserves are already gazetted, and Niger State will house a total of 6 million cattle which will generate a revenue of over N45 billion annually.

Governor Abubakar Bello has made job creation through investment promotion one of the key objectives of his administration.
