Sowore Rejects Buhari's Apology, Lists His 'Sins'

Leader of the Revolution Now Movement, Omoyele Sowore has been released from the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS GWG has learned.

Sowore was released from custody on Thursday evening following the strict instructions of a Federal High Court judge that he should be released within 24 hours otherwise she would not consider his case again.

He was released alongside his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, who gave the order, also awarded a N100, 000 fine against the DSS over its delay to serve the defence counsel with the additional proof of evidence in the ongoing trial of Sowore and Olawale Bakare.

Sowore was arrested in August days before he was to lead a protest against deteriorating standard of living and governance in the country.

GWG was yet to get full details of who he was released to.
