A new front in the supremacy battle between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has opened up in the race for the first of the two footballers to score 500 league games.

Lionel Messi has scored 433 goals while Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 432 goals. This means that only one goal separates both of them and this will galvanize the duo to be in the mood to score countless number of goals when they are given the chance.

The two footballers are revered for the indelible marks they have left on football’s history. Thus, the rivalry between these two heavyweights will not stop soon. It is a subject of debate as to who will be able to reach the 500 league goals count. The two players are unrepentant goal scoring machines. But who reaches the mark between the two?
