Judicial Stalemate In APC As Kano Court Returns Oshiomhole To Office

APC election shift

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was on Thursday set to reclaim his office after a Federal High Court in Kano set aside a ruling of the FCT High Court that stopped him from parading as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Justice Lewis Allagoa gave the order that also directed the police and Department of State Service (DSS) to provide security for Oshiomhole to resume in his office.

The development came after Justice Danlemi Senchi of the FCT High Court granted an order of interim injunction stopping Oshiomhole from parading himself as the APC National Chairman.

Oshiomhole was believed to have appealed the judgment at the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division.

The case was filed by Aliyu Muhammad Rabiu.

However, there is anxiety over the fact that the Kano Federal High Court is of coordinate jurisdiction with the Abuja court.
