COVID-19 Lands Akwa Ibom, Total Cases Now 174
23 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Nigeria on Wednesday as the pandemic touched ground in Akwa Ibom State which became the third state in the South-South to record the disease.
Five of the new cases were confirmed in Akwa Ibom, nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.
The breakdown of the pandemic in the various states as at 8.00 p.m. on Wednesday is as follow:
