Fani-Kayode Decries Kyari Death Rumours

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has strongly denounced the speculation on the alleged death of the Chief of Staff to the president, Abba Kyari saying it was wicked to wish a man dead on account of political differences.

The death rumour was further fueled after Dr. Kemi Olunoyo alleged that a high-level official in Aso Rock had died on account of COVID-19.

She, however, did not make any names and Kyari is known to be the only high-level officer in Aso Rock known to have been inflicted with the coronavirus.

Rebuffing the death speculation, Fani-Kayode an unapologetic critic of the Muhammadu Buhari said:

Fani-Kayode’s tweet was, however, faced with lack of concern by twitter users and with critical reactions by some others.
Kyari was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and last Sunday relocated to a private facility in Lagos to seek private treatment.

The Cable had reported that the influential government official has been recuperating.
