The Premier League has been a platform for some of the best players in the world to showcase their sublime talents. From Thierry Henry, to Crisitano Ronaldo, to Alan Shearer, to Eric Cantona, Jay Jay Okocha, to David Beckham, the list of great players is endless.

One man that can never be omitted out of the ćreme de la ćreme of English Football is Sergio Aguero.

He joined Manchester City from Atletico Madrid as one of the best strikers in the world in 2011 and has performed marvelously since joining the outgoing English Champions. All the managers Sergio Aguero has played under at Manchester City attest to the fact that he is an indispensable player in the City side.

Apart from his goal scoring contributions to the team, his tenacity to ensure that the right results are attained has made him a cult hero and a fans favorite.

Albeit, he killed two birds with one stone as his last gasp winner against QPR on the last day of the 2011/2012 season gave the club its first Premier League title in 44 years and also snatched the title away from their arch rivals Manchester United.

An astonishing 180 goals in 261 appearances for Manchester City has seen him become the all-time highest goal scorer in the club’s history.  Additionally, he is the 4th highest goal scorer in the Premier League, the highest non-English goal scorer and he also, attained the landmark of scoring the most hat-tricks in the Premier League against Aston Villa in the earlier stages of the current Premier League season.

It is an open secret that he is a prolific goal scorer who is on the cusp of breaking more records, provided that he is given play-time.

His goal attempts normally end in the nets, leaving goalkeepers helpless and stunned.

Since his arrival, Manchester City has won  Four Premier League trophies, three Community Shields, five EFL Cups and one FA Cup.

However, the Argentine has represented his country in three FIFA World Cups, three Copa America tournaments, one Olympic football tournaments and two FIFA U-20 World Cups.
