17 Deaths, 409 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

409 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country across 15 states and the FCT on Wednesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported late on Wednesday.

There were, however, 17 deaths, matching the record set on May 2, 2020.

The new cases brought the total number of cases of the novel coronavirus in the country to 13,873 with 4,351 successfully treated and discharged.

The 17 deaths on Wednesday brought the total number of mortalities to 382.
