How Ize-Iyamu Won Edo APC Primary With Landslide

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC governorship primary in Edo State.

He emerged winner of the primary by beating his closest challenger and former political associate, Dr. Pius Odubu and former local government chairman of Oredo Local Government Area, Osaro Obaze.

Ize-Iyamu who was the clear favourite polled 27,838 votes to defeat Odubu who scored 3,776 votes while Mr. Osaro Obaze scored 2,751 votes.

Chairman of the Edo State APC Primary Election Committee, Governor Hope Uzodinma, declared Ize-Iyamu the winner of the election following the collation of the results from the 18 local government areas of the state.
