Buhari Suspends Magu As Chairman Of EFCC

Magu deserves compensation

Mr. Ibrahim Magu has been suspended as the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC by President Muhammadu Buhari sources disclosed on Tuesday.

The suspension follows the arrest and detention of Mr. Magu on Monday by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS and the police while he was on his way out of the office.

He has been held since then and was detained over night following his interrogation by a presidential panel in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
