Investigations into the affairs of Ibrahim Magu at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC continues on Tuesday after the acting chairman of the anti-graft agency was made to spend the night in detention.

GWG gathered that the quizzing of Magu by an inter-agency panel headed by a retired justice of the Court of Appeal took a break at about 10.00 p.m. on Monday following which he was reportedly detained overnight.

The questioning is expected to resume at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa during which the anti-graft czar is expected to respond to the litany of charges that have been leveled against him.

He is also expected to address issues raised against him by the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami who had recently called for his removal over sundry allegations ranging from corruption to insubordination among others.
