The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi has received strong commendations on a comedy skit he made with popular comedian, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni.

In the skit, the revered monarch was seen promoting the Yoruba culture of respect for elders.

The 140 seconds viral video posted on Saturday turned into a popular hit on social media.

In the video, the Ooni of Ife encouraged Yoruba all over the world on the need to respect their elders and not forget the cultural mode of greeting, which involves kneeling and prostrating.

“We from Yoruba race and all over the World, when you see your elders you must respect them. You must kneel down or prostate. They still kneel to greet elders and they still prostate, so let the new generation know this,” Ooni of Ife said in the video.
