Actress Says She Was Suicidal When Marriage Broke

Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has revealed that she almost committed suicide when her eight year marriage to Michael Boyd didn’t work out  even after much effort.

The single mother of two boys has also vowed that her daughters will not break the heart of men the way she suffered in and after her failed marriage.

In an interview with Motherhood-in-style Magazine, the actress and model born  to a German Irish mother and a Yoruba father said she became depressed after the break up with her baby daddy.

One of her  fans  who was overwhelmed with the attractiveness of her two sons named D’ Marion and Ayde decided to comment thus:

“Your boys will break girls hearts. Hope you’re ready to comfort people’s daughters,” the fan said.

Adunni didn’t ignore the comment  trusting in her method of upbringing of her sons, she replied  back- “No. My children will not break girls hearts because they are trained…”, she said.

The actress was born in Queens, New York, United States of America and was raised in both Lagos and the US.
