Udom Keeps Akpabio In Reconstituted Cabinet

Governor Udom Emmanuel has reconstituted his cabinet following the inauguration of eight new commissioners approved by the State House of Assembly.

In reconstituting the cabinet the governor also moved some of the former commissioners to different positions. Among those retained in their positions was Prince Ukpong Akpabio, a relative of the former governor of the state, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem who disclosed the new portfolios listed out the new portfolios thus:

1. Mr. Akan Okon – Ministry of Economic Dev & Ibom Deep Seaport

2. Arc. Ime Okon Ekpo – Ministry of Lands & Water Resources

3. Uwemedimo Thomas Nwoko Esq – Ministry of Justice & Attorney General

4. Sir Monday Ebong Uko – Ministry of Youths & Sports

5. Mr. Nsikan Linus Nkan – Ministry of Finance

6. Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ikpong Etteh – Ministry of Special Duties

7. Mr. Charles Udoh – Ministry of Environment & Petroleum Resources

8. Hon. Orman Esin – Ministry of Culture & Tourism

9. Mrs. Glory Edet PhD – Ministry of Agriculture

10. Prince Ukpong Akpabio – Ministry of Trade & Industries

11. Rt. Hon. (Chief) Uno Etim Uno – Ministry of Transport & Solid Minerals

12. Otuekong Raphael Bassey – Ministry of Housing

13. Pastor (Hon) Sunday Ekanem Ibuot – Ministry of Labour & Manpower Planning

14. Prof. Eno James Ibanga – Ministry of Works & Fire Serv.

15. Hon. Frank Archibong – Ministry of Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs

16. Prof. Augustine Vincent Umoh – Ministry of Health

17. Dr. Ini Adiakpan (Ms) – Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Welfare

18. Enobong Udemeabasi Mbobo (Mrs) – Ministry of Education

19. Ini Ememobong Essien – Ministry of Information & Strategy

20. Dr. Imo Moffat – Ministry of Science & Technology

21. Mrs. Ekemini David Umoh – Buruea of Rural Development & Cooperative

22. Elder (Hon.)Amanam Okon Nkanga – Buruea of Political & Social Re-Orientation

The postings, which take immediate effect, are a part of the continuous drive to strengthen all organs of Government for the actualization of His Excellency, the Governor’s Completion Agenda, the SSG said.
