Quizzing Of Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage Stirs Rumpus

Sharp reactions have trailed the report that music producer, Michael Ajereh a.k.a Don Jazzy and singer, Tiwatope Savage a.k.a Tiwa Savage were allegedly questioned by the Department of State Security, DSS over their social media comments.
The Punch Newspaper had reported that Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage were invited to the Lagos office of the DSS, two weeks ago.
It was gathered that the two were warned to be mindful of the comments they post on the social media.
Tiwa Savage’s invitation it was gathered may be connected to the hashtag “WeAreTired”, which she initiated due to the rise in rape cases but snowballed to other issues bedeviling the nation including insecurity, corruption and economic malaise.
Celebrities like Waje and Yemi Alade were also reportedly invited by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu, who was said to have cautioned them about their activities on social media.
The development sparked sharp reactions on the micro blogging platform, Twitter with some Nigerians raising the irony of Don Jazzy who supported Muhammadu Buhari’s aspiration in 2015 against Goodluck Jonathan.
