Akeredolu, Jegede, Ajayi Win Polling Units

The three major candidates in Saturday’s Ondo State governorship election, Rotimi Akeredolu of the APC, Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP and Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP easily won their polling booths spread across the three senatorial zones of the state.

Governor Akeredolu won his Polling Unit 6, Ward 5, Isokun, Ijebu Owo with 413 votes against the 12 votes scored by Jegede.

The deputy governor Ajayi scored zero.

In Jegede’s Igbogin/Isikan Ward 2, unit 9, he scored 220 votes against 60 recorded by Akeredolu and the seven votes scored by Ajayi.

Ajayi on his part won his polling Unit 004, Apoi Ward II, Idumado Quarters, Kiribo with 395 votes while Akeredolu won 13 votes and Jegede won five votes.

Collation of the total result is ongoing at the moment.
