Nigeria Records Zero COVID-19 Death For Sixth Day

Nigeria has for the sixth straight day not recorded a COVID-19 death it emerged on Friday. The country, however, recorded 151 new cases of the disease in nine states and the FCT.

The last death due to COVID-19 was last Saturday, October 3, 2020.

The new cases brought the total confirmed infections in the country to 59,992 with 51,614 of the cases discharged with 1,113 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in its report of the developments on Friday said:
