Ungrateful Girl, Alaafin’s Palace Slams Queen

The palace of the Alaafin of Oyo has rebuffed claims by the monarch’s estranged wife, Queen Anuoluwapo that her life was threatened after she decided to leave the palace.

Queen Anuoluwapo had in an Instagram post alleged that she was the subject of a kidnap attempt and that her life and those of her family members were at risk following her decision to leave the palace and the marriage.

Queen Anuoluwapo who is in her twenties and has a set of twins for the Alaafin had recently left the palace and is now believed to be in Lagos.

Rebuffing her claims, a palace source told Kemi Ashefon, “She is a senseless girl and the Kabiesi is the last person to o whatever she has posted. They are all lies. This was a girl from nowhere that Baba sent to school and brushed up.

“Now, she wants to bite the fingers that fed her. Why should Baba attempt kidnapping a girl that is like his grandaughter? Who said her family is being threatened? Do you know the number of wives in the king’s harem?

“Why should Anu be that important? Baba has nothing to say on the matter.” Queen Anuoluwapo’s exit from the palace came after another lady in the harem, Queen Ajoke Ola left the palace a few months ago.”
