The Yaba Magistrates Court was on Tuesday charged with chorus of #EndSARS as Eromosele Adene, a leading protester during the recent campaign against police brutality was granted bail by the court after 10 days in police custody.

Eromosele who was arrested and first taken to Abuja before being returned to Lagos has become one of the most visible faces of the government clampdown against the recent #EndSARS campaign.

He was granted bail by the police with bond set at N1 million.

The magistrate affirmed that his fundamental human rights must not be breached by the trial.

The police had sought an order to hold him for another 30 days pending investigations into the allegation that he provided cash for the protesters.

Earlier the police had tried to fence family, friends and fans away from the court as a cordon was set around the court and Eromesele.

However, many still entered the court premises and once the magistrate gave the ruling on bail the court premises was taken up with shouts of EndSARS, EndSARS!
