Delta Mob Sends Two Suspected Robbers To Hell

A mob in Warri, Delta State on Tuesday morning sent two suspected robbers to hell after they were lynched and set ablaze following an early morning operation when they terrorized residents.

The robbers according to  t reports had stormed the Okumagba Avenue area of the oil city in a motorbike around 5.30 a.m. but were resisted by a mob which fought them off.

They were eventually pursued up to Emebiren junction along Okumagba Avenue where they were beaten to stupor before being set ablaze.

The Divisional Police Officer, “B” Division in Warri, CSP Benjamin Igometi, confirmed the incident to The Punch.

“They just called me just now that some robbers came to attack in that area, and they caught them, and they were lynched. That’s what I heard.” he said.
