6 Die As COVID-19 Bites Hard In Lagos, FCT, Kaduna

Six more persons died from the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday across Nigeria as 920 new cases of the disease were recorded in 17 states and the FCT.

The 920 new cases is the third highest figure recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic in Nigeria last February.

Lagos, FCT and Kaduna were the highest states with 308, 207 and 179 new cases reported on Saturday.

The 920 new cases brought the total cases recorded in the country to 77,933 with 67,784 cases successfully treated while 1, 218 deaths have been recorded in the country.
