Patience Ozokwor: I Left My Young Love To Marry An Elderly Man Because Of My Father

Nollywood icon, Patience Ozokwor has narrated how she abandoned the young man she hoped to marry in deference to her father’s desire to marry an elderly man. According to her not long after the marriage, her husband was stricken with a terminal disease but her moral upbringing caused her to abide with him.

Ozokwor in an interview with Channels Television espoused fidelity to family values saying that she never saw divorce as an option despite entering into a marriage that was not inspired by love.

Ozokwor who has been hailed for her acting prowess and her stable life off-screen spoke with Bolanle Olukanni.
