Exceeding Expectations!

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Ephesians 3:20.

Having prayed for the Ephesians to be filled with the fullness of God, it is remarkable that he cannot ask for anything more. That perhaps is the height to which he could raise them.

Now in concluding this wonderful prayer, the apostle acknowledges the supremacy of the God we pray to.

He is able to exceedingly and abundantly.

He exceeds our expectations. He fills the one who is nothing, empty, zero and gives him the divine nature to be like God! That is exceeding grace.

He exceeds what we can ask.

He exceeds what we can think and that is why He is hailed without comparison.
