Father’s Day: Nwoye Greets Fathers For Being There For Family
Frontline Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Dr. Tony Nwoye has joined fathers to commemorate the fathers day celebrations.
In a statement released on Sunday, 20th June, 2021, Dr Nwoye eulogized the fathers as being the beacon of hope to the family and whose role and impact on the family are invaluable and enormous. He thus praised the fathers for always being there for everyone in the family.
He commended fathers for shouldering the various responsibilities that stare up in the face which ranged from provision of the basic amenities and providing quality and sound education and training to their wards as that has made them pillars in the society.
He said that despite the great task that comes with fatherhood, that fathers have remained resolute and ever committed in their positions as heads of their various families which they have continued to carry with aplomb and pride.
He called on children to always celebrate their fathers as they tend to pass through so many hurdles which they will not say out. He poured a special encomium on his father, Chief Lawrence Nwoye who made sacrifices to see that he became a responsible man and a father too.
Dr Tony Nwoye with nostalgia said that the father’s day celebrations will never be complete without celebrating his benefactor and mentor, Prince Engr Dr Arthur Ikpechukwu Eze, Ozoigbondu who adopted him as a son and showed him great love which nurtured him into becoming who he is today in the society, he prayed the Almighty God to continue to bless the Ukpo royal prince and adorn him with sound health and longevity of life.
In conclusion, Dr Nwoye called on fathers to rise to the occasion of fatherhood as norms and good morals are quite becoming elusive in the society.
He prayed for Gods divine protection, assistance and blessing upon every father who toils for the betterment of the family and the society at large.
