Nursing Student Suspended For Not Welcoming Buhari During Borno Visit

A student of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Maiduguri, Borno State was allegedly suspended for one week for not welcoming President Muhammadu Buhari during his recent visit to Borno state last week.

The student was suspended with effect from Monday June 21 for supposedly disobeying an executive order to welcome the President on June 17.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that President Buhari was in Maiduguri for a one day visit during which he commissioned a number of projects executed by the Prof Babagana Zulum administration.

Citizens were mobilized to welcome the president for what was said to be a rousing welcome.

The unnamed student is to resume on June 28 when the student is expected to return with a guardian or parent according to the letter issued on the suspension.
