Wike, Obiano, Others Sold Out Nnamdi Kanu – IPOB
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has concluded its preliminary investigations into the rendition of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and accused Governors Nyesom Wike, Willie Obiano, Senator Chris Ngige among others of conspiracy in sabotaging him.
The group was, however, silent on the alleged role of Asari Dokubo who some had alleged helped to catch Nnamdi Kanu following the frosty relationship between the two men.
The political office holders along with billionaire businessman, Chief Emeka Offor were indicted by IPOB over the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya, according to a statement issued by IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful.
“Our intelligence unit, the M. Branch discovered how Emeka Offor of Oraifte coordinated and financed the evil plot. We equally gathered that the Nigerian Government initially refused to commit the extraordinary rendition until Emeka Offor, Nyesom Wike, and Willie Obiano, agreed to bankroll the plot,” Powerful said in the statement.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the group had earlier discountenanced some of those mentioned on the claim that it had not established any culpability on their part as it claimed that it was at that time still making its investigations.
According to Powerful, IPOB investigations also revealed that the Nigerian government refused to sponsor the project but some Igbo politicians and businessmen offered to step in to fund the project to apprehend Nnamdi Kanu.
“Should anything happen to our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the fate of Judas will be more honourable than what will befall these traitors,” the IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful said in the statement.
“Anybody close to these saboteurs should advise them to quickly go for the release of our Leader the way they trapped him into the net of the Nigeria Government.
IPOB in the statement further averred that those it mentioned were to be held accountable for whatever happens to Nnamdi Kanu who is presently in the custody of the Department of State Services following his return to the country.
“Investigation is still ongoing to determine the level of each person’s involvement,” he said.
