Family Confirms What Killed Uwaifo

Goodman Uwaifo, one of the sons of the late music icon Victor Uwaifo has dismissed claims that his father died of the dreaded Covid-19 disease. Goodman Uwaifo – who is the third son of the late Uwaifo, confirmed that his father died after a battle with pneumonia.

Speaking to journalists and newsmen on Sunday, Goodman, stated that his father died after a brief battle with pneumonia. Goodman- who is the third son of the late Uwaifo also confirmed that the incident occurred in the evening hours of Saturday- at about 4 pm.

While responding to questions, Goodman- whose sister Mrs. Evelyn Oghonmwen was also present, mentioned that their father was rushed to a hospital on Friday, when his conditions began to deteriorate. According to him, his father eventually passed on the next day.

In his words “I want to use this opportunity to clear this misinformation. We have heard rumors that our father, Sir Victor Uwaifo died of Covid-19. This is not true.” he said.

The younger Uwaifo also said that the necessary tests were carried out to confirm his father’s ailment before treatments were administered and that there are no doubts as to the cause of his death.
