PSG Chief Slams Real Madrid's Pursuit Of Mbappe

France international Kylian Mbappe has admitted calling Neymar a ‘tramp’ during Paris Saint-Germain’s recent victory over Montpellier.

This comes after Mbappe revealed he asked to leave the French giant’s in July.

PSG’s front three is among the most star-studded ever assembled but it has not all been plain sailing so far. Injuries and rotation have prevented the trio building up any real understanding as of yet.

There has also been speculation that their competing egos may get in the way of on-field success, with Mbappe being caught on camera lashing out at Neymar after he failed to play him through in the Montpellier game last month.

In an interview with L’Equipe, Mbappe was asked about the situation and responded candidly, saying: “Yes, yes, I said it. Now, these are things that happen all the time in football. It just doesn’t have to be something left.

“That’s why, immediately afterwards, given the extent of it, I spoke with him about it. We have already exchanged a lot of words like that in the past and it will continue, because we want to win, but there must not be a certain resentment.

“There is none at all because I respect the player and the man and I admire what he is. But now, I was not happy with a pass. One day it happened to me too, I did didn’t pass and he wasn’t happy. But there is no problem.”

Mbappe also spoke about his relationship with PSG’s other star forward, Messi, whom he revealed was settling in well in Paris.

“I never imagined him coming here! He is one of the few players that I put in an “impossible that I play with him” box,” he beamed

“For me, he was never going to leave Barcelona. I savour every moment next to him. We must never forget that it remains a privilege. He is someone who loves football. He talks to everyone, he tries to fit in in his own way, even if he’s a little shy. But in the field, he is not shy.”
