Nigeria Nears World Cup Qualification With 2-0 Defeat Of Liberia

Nigeria moved towards qualification for the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar on Saturday when the country’s Super Eagles defeated the Liberian national team by 2-0 in Tangier, Morocco

The victory for the Eagles came vide two spot kicks in either half from Victor Osimhen and Ahmed Musa.

The victory for the Nigerian national team brings the country within grasp of qualification. Nigeria needs a win in the next round of matches to be assured of qualification for the Mundial.
