Nigerians Hail As Wike Taunts Fayemi Over Ekiti-Akure Road

Nigerians have taken to social media to hail Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike following the emergence of a video where he chided Gov Fayemi on the state of the Ekiti-Akure road.

The video shows the two governors from rival parties sitting together and discussing, and Fayemi can be heard saying

“If we didn’t do what we did you think you go dey office now, Mr Fayemi said in pidgin referring to his participation in the pro-democracy struggle. “If we did not do it, you go opportunity to dey do road, dey do project?” he asked.

Wike in his usual boisterous manner fired back, “What is the essence of if we don’t do if we don’t do? From Ekiti to Akure no road,”.

Fayemi replied back, “Don’t worry about that one”.

Following the exchange of banter between the two governors, social media users immediately declared their love for Wike’s honesty.
