Weeks after he buried his South African born second wife, Pastor Nomthi, death has again called on the steps of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, taking away his twin sister, Kehinde.

News of the death of Kehinde came after his daughter, Tolu Ijogun posted the development on her facebook page.

According to the post, Kehinde died on Thursday, December 30, 2021. The cause of the death has, however, not been given.

Tolu wrote: “My Dearest Aunty K, my birthing partner and one of my closest aunties, You were always there for me when I needed my mother the most.

“You held my hand and encouraged mee, to say I will miss you is such an understatement. Rest on Aunty, love you.”

Pastor Taiwo who lost his first wife, Bimbo Odukoya in 2005 in the Sosoliso air plane disaster drew emotional flow and support last November when he lost his second wife, Nomthi.

Among those who especially praised Pastor Odukoya at that time was his son, Jimmy.

Jimmy had in a post while watching the stoicism of his father in the midst of the tragedy had said:

“I sit here and marvel at the man my father Pastor Taiwo, He lost his wife Pastor Nomthi on Tuesday ; (2nd wife he would loose to death ) and here He is worshipping on stage in church on Sunday leading the church to worship; What manner of man is this ? His Strength in the midst of pain; His Courage in the face of fear; His Faith in a sea of doubt; His Perseverance through disappointment; His Wisdom amidst chaos; His Dedication beyond personal loss; His Unwavering Love for God bypassing his present reality are what legends are made of !!

The battles He has fought would break a lesser man; I am FULLY PERSUADED that the very breath of God flows through him and that is what continues to strengthen him. Ah Pastor Taiwo Odukoya!! NA MAN YOU BE !!! What an honour to come from your loins and carry your last name! What a privilege to be your son! What an advantage to have your DNA !! To a General in God’s Army; Your battle scars sing of your victories ! I salute you Sir! No son could have a better Father “

Meanwhile, Jimmy Odukoya has yet to respond to the death of his father’s twin sister Kehinde.
