Buhari Hails Wogu On 57th Birthday

President Muhammadu Buhari has hailed former minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Emeka Wogu on the occasion of his 57th birthday.

Wogu, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia State attained 57 on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

On the occasion of the birthday, President Buhari in a special message to him wished him “more years of health and happiness,” according to a statement issued by Mr. Femi Adesina,

Noting the services of Nwadiala Wogu to the country in his different positions in government, President Buhari was quoted by Adesina to have said that he “recognises Chief Wogu’s steadfast commitment and service to the country in different positions of leadership and joins family, friends and well-wishers in praying for enduring strength, grace and wisdom to do more for humanity.”

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that before serving as minister of labour and productivity, that Wogu had also served in the Revenue, Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC where he played notable roles in the resolution of boundary disputes between the states and also in the postulation of the former government’s policies on monetization among others.

Wogu who is from Abia South is also one of the quiet political actors being mentioned in the governorship contest in the state.
