Pictures: Man Mobilises Thugs To Scatter Ex-Girlfriend’s Marriage Ceremony, Demands N22m Refund Spent On Her
A man (names withheld) has caused a stir after he mobilized thugs to scatter the ex-girlfriend’s traditional marriage in Akwa Ibom State.
The man with first name Sampson was alleged to have arrived Afaha Efiat Iman, in Etinan Local Government Area of the state with thugs while the ceremony was ongoing and immediately descended on those present and scattered the otherwise peaceful traditional engagement.
The new fiancé of the lady, the bride and those present were said to have taken to their heels as the thugs brought down the canopies and other things that were arranged for the traditional wedding engagement.
The decision to scatter the ex-girlfriend’s marriage to another man according to the aggrieved former boyfriend came after the failure of the girl to refund an estimated N22 million he had spent on her while they courted.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG has been unable to confirm how long the pair courted and the manner of investments the former boyfriend made on the lady.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen who was on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 sacked as chief of staff to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has pledged his loyalty to the governor.
The once-powerful political enforcer of the governor made his pledge in a statement following his unceremonious dismissal as chief of staff on Tuesday.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Inyang-Eyen was sacked on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in a terse statement that observed the government’s urgent desire to match competencies to required skill sets.
The dismissal came in the shadows of the insinuations that the two men had fallen out over the governor’s transition plans with the former chief of staff said to have been inclined towards Senator Bassey Albert against the governor’s announcement of Pastor Umo Eno as his preferred successor.
The sacked Chief of Staff was also said to have offended the governor with his plot for a Senate seat.
