Jude Bellingham: The Current Best Young Talent In World Football

Dortmund’s starlet Jude Bellingham is arguably football’s best young talent right now and he is proving that just right with outstanding performances in domestic and European turfs.

The 18-year-old Englishman has been incredible all through the ongoing 2021-2022 season with his numbers speaking for themselves. The midfielder has recorded 17 goal contributions in 28 matches across all competitions this season. But despite the young man’s heroics of recent, the efforts of Bellingham have not proved enough for Dortmund as they are currently out of any competitive tournament this season following their latest Europa League exit to Rangers.

The German side bowed out of the DFB Pokal in just the first round, and are currently six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. The club got knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage and are now out of another European competition in the early stages, which sums up a disappointing season for them.

Although, they have a brilliant young talent at their disposal in Jude Bellingham, as he proved his class yet again in their second leg tie against Rangers in the Europa League scoring a goal and setting up another as they played out to a 2-2 draw that saw them bow out of the competition on aggregates. At just the beginning of his career, Bellingham has attracted a lot of suitors for his signature, with English giants Liverpool leading the race.

Bellingham emerged as runner up for the 2021 Kopa Trophy for the best young talent, and already has the world at his feet as he looks to go on and become a footballing great.
