Buhari’s Grandson Arrives In Turkey

President Muhammadu Buhari has been blessed with another grandson courtesy of his daughter, Hanan. GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Hanan and her husband husband, Mohammed Turad Sha’aban, welcomed their first child on Sunday, March 20.

The baby was born in Turkey it was gathered.

The happy father who confirmed the news of the baby boy in a post on the social media application, Instagram, said: 

“My wife and I have been blessed with a baby boy! Alhamdulillah. We have named him Muhammad Zayd. (Hibbu Raulallah)” the statement reads.

The couple got married in September, 2020.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Buhari has several grandchildren from the five children of his first wife who he divorced after he came out from detention in the eighties and also from the children of his present wife.

The president normally keeps issues regarding his family far from the public limelight and it is not expected that the arrival of the latest grandson will be celebrated in the public space by the Buhari family or by aides.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has praised the efforts of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, towards making the Lekki Deep Sea Port a reality.

He also directed the minister to consult and bring up a memorandum to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to link the facility with the railway network.

The President’s media aide, Garba Shehu, in a statement said the president gave the directive when he inspected the rate of work done at the first Deep Sea Port in Nigeria located in Lagos Free Zone, 65Km east of Lagos, as part of his engagements in the state.
