Soludo Names Nollywood Star, Udoku Among 8 New Appointments
Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has approved eight new senior appointments in his new government including Nollywood star, Bob-Manuel Udoku who was appointed as Special Adviser Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism
News of the appointments was conveyed in a statement obtained by GreenWhiteGreen GWG and issued by the commissioner for Information & Public Enlightenment, Mr Paul Nwosu.
The list of the new appointments read thus:
1. Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata; MD/CEO ICT Agency
2. Mr Chike Anyaonu; MD/CEO Anambra State Housing Development Corporation
3. Mr. Joe Anatune; MD/CEO Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency
4. Arch. Okey Ezeobi; GM/CEO Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement
6. Barr. Tochukwu Nweke; Special Adviser Legal
7. Dr Nelson Omenugha; Special Adviser Youth Empowerment Programme
8. Mr. Bob-Manuel Udoku; Special Adviser Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism
The appointment of the Nollywood super star, Bob Manuel Udoku into the Anambra State Government by Governor Charles Soludo came as one of his contemporaries, Rita Dominic dragged many of Nigeria’s leading superstars to her marriage ceremony in Aboh Mbaise in Imo State.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG had earlier reported that Among the well wishers from the industry witnessing the marriage ceremonies were some of the prominent names in Nollywood including Joke Silva, Uche Jombo, Kate Henshaw, and Ini Edo.
Rita Dominic is getting married to businessman Fidelis Anosike.
report has it that the wedding will take place in her late father’s compound, which is also the palace of the traditional ruler of the community, HRH, Eze Marcellenus J.O Waturuocha. A report has it that the vicinity was by midday on Thursday already besieged with well wishers who have come to witness the traditional marriage.
Rita and fiancé, Fidelis Anosike subsequently arrived the family compound sometime at about 1.00 p.m. amid a tight cordon by a combined team of security men including the army, police and private security groups.
